Man Recounts Experience with Lagos Blue Line Rail

A man identified as Nnaemeka Amanze, has recounted his experience with the Lagos State Blue Rail.

According to the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) in a post on microblogging website, X, formerly Twitter on Wednesday, Amanze described ‘the Lagos Train as a life saver’

He said: “This Lagos Train Is a life saver. It was 4:30 pm today and I needed to get something at Lagos Island. The guy said he was closing by 5:30. I tried to get a delivery guy but he said tomorrow. I rushed down to Mile 2 Train Station, boarded the Train and was at his shop at exactly 5:15.

“Went back to Marina Station and got to my house before 6pm. Before now, the journey would take me 3 to 4 hours depending on the type of Lagos madness that day.”

Amanze envisaged his experience being replicated across the country with the availability of rails.
